The Twilight At Taronga live music series will return to its beautiful location of Taronga Zoo early next year, pairing optimum views with stellar tunes and warm summer nights.
A series of summer concerts will take place amongst the animals from Thursday 28th January and run right through until Saturday 12th March. The acts who will be filling those dates are yet to be announced but all is set to be revealed on Thursday, 22nd October.
Last year an impressive array of artists took to the stage including Belle & Sebastian, Bernard Fanning, Rufus Wainwright and Sarah Blasko, so it’s understandably expected that 2016 will be just as good.
The 2016 series also marks the first in a number of celebrations for Taronga Zoo’s centennial year so organisers will no doubt be concocting something special.
All proceeds from Twilight At Taronga go to the Taronga Conservation Society Australia which looks after wildlife conservation, scientific research and environmental sustainability.
