Tyler the Creator Wins Best New Artist Award at 2011 MTV VMA’s

Odd Future’s Tyler the Creator’s dreams are all coming true; he has just picked up the Best New Artist award at the MTV VMA’s. The Odd future boss won Best New Artist for his Yonkers video from his solo album Goblin. The other nominations were Kreayshawn, Big Sean, Foster the People, and Wiz Khalifa.

The rest of the Odd Future members all jumped on the stage with him and Tyler dedicated the award to missing member Earl Sweatshirt.

Tyler actually appeared lost for words saying: “I wanted this since I was nine,”.
