UK rapper Kwakzino is back with a single, “Long Way,” featuring T Caldw3ll and produced by L2 Productions. Coming together with rap and the UK grime drill, this track is bound to bring about an infectious feel within the CHH soundscape.
The release comes with a music video, which probably will be noted for its catchy appeal.
Kwakzino ‘Long Way’
Kwakzino said “This song is personal because I’ve been in the music thing for a long time and feel I took the ‘Long Way’ literally to get here. There’s no shortcut to success, and every failure has been a learning curve that made me stronger in the long run. This parallels my walk with Christ—there are no shortcuts. Every time I’ve fallen, He’s helped me up. I’ve never thought of quitting on music because it’s a God-given mission.”
“Long Way” is a strong message in the song: work for what you want to achieve and don’t take the easy option. It has a catchy chorus and entails skills by artists who have been working on their talents since their teen years. The track has already gained national exposure with a play on BBC 1 Xtra by DJ Target, who selected it to be one of his songs of the week”
Kwakzino is an artist from the UK who initially put out ‘Overdue’ on SoundCloud. Teamed up with his crew, Dreams You Can Keep Muzik, he sold out the O2 Academy Islington in 2015. Taking time for uni graduation and raising two sons, Kwakzino put ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’ out in 2018. This project dived into overcoming his past harmful lifestyle and rediscovering hope in childhood faith. Expect much more from Kwakzino in the coming year.
