The lineup for UNIFY Gathering 2016 is yet to drop but punters snapped-up all the early bird tickets just three hours after they went on sale.
Early bird tickets were available only to those who bought tickets to the 2015 edition of the festival which must mean that the inaugural event really impressed attendees.
Punters who missed out on these tickets have another chance to secure passes when the general public allocation goes live on October 1st.
We don’t yet know who will appear on the 2016 lineup, although organisers have let us know that 20 bands are set to play with three of those international. They also revealed the 2016 lineup features three repeat acts from 2015, all who had new albums out this year.
UNIFY Gathering ran its inaugural event earlier this year, featuring the likes of The Amity Affliction, In Hearts Wake, Deez Nuts, Thy Art Is Murder, Break Even and Northlane. The 2015 lineup is set to be revealed on 25th November.
“The lineup, the site layout and the amenities will be a considerable step up this time around,” organisers have promised.
Following the lineup drop general public tickets will go on sale at 9am on 1st October for $149 plus booking fee. There is capacity for 5000 punters this year at the South Gippsland site, two hours from Melbourne.
