UNIFY Gathering Are Announcing Their 2022 Lineup This Week

Heavy music lovers rejoice – UNIFY Gathering is set to make its glorious return next year at Tarwin Meadows in Tarwin Lower, South Gippsland from Thursday, 20th January to Sunday, 23rd January 2022. Next year’s event will feature an all-Australian lineup, which we now know will be revealed imminently. Acts are set to be announced on the morning of this Thursday, 19th August.

While the lineup is currently under wraps there’s a very high possibility we’ll see Gympie (QLD) hardcore heroes The Amity Affliction on there, given they soundtrack the hyped-up 2022 lineup teaser video (below).

Tickets will be on sale the same day from midday via Ticketmaster, with a pre-sale kicking off an hour earlier which you can sign up for here. Next year’s event will have a strict capacity of 7,000, which is less tickets than the previous four edition, so you’ll want to be quick to it if you want to attend.

Given the ongoing pandemic, organisers say they also have a contingency plan in place. Should UNIFY not be able to take place in January of next year, they’ve also got the weekend of Thursday, 10th March to Sunday, 13th March 2022 confirmed as a backup.

UNIFY 2021 was cancelled due to the pandemic, particularly the precarious situation in Victoria at the time. Organisers put together a radio festival in lieu of the day. UNIFY’s last in-person event was in 2020, with a lineup that included the likes of Architects, The Ghost Inside, Northlane, Polaris and many more. Read a review of UNIFY’s 2020 event here.
