Gang Of Youths frontman Dave Le’Aupepe has taken to social media to drag US airline Delta for smashing his guitar.
The Aussie band are currently on tour in the US, where they made their US TV debut on Late Night With Seth Myers, but it seems to have gone a bit sour.
Le’Aupepe posted a picture on Instagram of his smashed Gretsch guitar telling Delta, “thanks for smashing my Gretsch guitar, really appreciate it.”
It looks to be the same guitar that Le’Aupepe was sporting during the band’s Seth Meyers apperance.
He’s displaying a big ol’ grin in the picture but he’s obviously pretty annoyed about the situation, as you would be.
The band still have months of their US tour to play. They’ve just finished up at SXSW in Austin, Texas and will now move onto Nashville. It’s not set to wrap up until June.
