American Police are on the hunt for a man alleged to have robbed a bank dressed as everyone’s favourite braided ’80s pop star – Rick James.
Described as a Cold Blooded attack, there is no news yet if the phrase “I’m Rick James Bitch!!!” was uttered during the ordeal.
On Saturday, September 19th two men are suspected to have robbed the Advance America in Indiana, with one of them dressed at the late Superfreak and the other dressed as a character from the 1970s blaxploitation film Super Fly.
Local news, via NME, reported the following, clearly missing the painstaking attention the perpetrators took in making their costumes.
“Two black men wearing all black entered the bank with handguns. Both men approached the teller counter and demanded money. The suspects ran in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.”
“The first suspect is described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with long dark hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a black hat, all black clothing and was armed.”
“The second suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with long dreads. He was armed and wearing all black clothing.”
Believed to also have held up the nearby Indiana Members Credit Union the next day, the suspects are still at large, proving Hard To Get.
