Violent Soho To Be Added To Queensland’s Valley Walk Of Fame

Violent Soho are set to join a host of legendary Queensland bands with a spot on the Brunswick St Mall Walk Of Fame in Fortitude Valley.

The rock outfit who hail from Mansfield in Queensland, took out this year’s Song Of The Year for Like Soda – and will be honoured at the the Queensland Music Awards Showcase and the forthcoming Valley Fiesta – an event that showcases some of the state’s best acts each year.

Violent Soho, who also won the gone for Album Of The Year in 2015 for Hungry Ghost, will be in esteemed company when their plaque is cemented on the walk, following artists including Hungry Kids Of Hungary, Emma Louise, Ball Park Music and more legends from the sunshine state.

The plaque is another in a growing list of achievements for the band – who this week will launch their new East Coast Crusher Beer at launch parties in capital cities around the country.

Valley Fiesta runs from Friday, 28th to Sunday 30th October in Fortitude Valley, full details at their website.

Violent Soho will also be back on the road in October and November 2016, and you can also catch them at Falls Festival ’16/’17.
