Violent Soho Hit The Road In Support Of New 7″

The Violent Soho camp has gone from 0 to 100 just like that. Earlier this month, we were spoiled with the first new material from the band in some time. Now we can confirm that Violent Soho will be hitting the road for their first run of headlining shows in 2 years.

Since the band’s return to their home of Queensland, after spending 18 months or so in the USA, Violent Soho have been busy: heads down, bums up writing and recording material on a mass level to prepare for their 2013 album. Tinderbox was handed down to the fans very recently, and we now know that that will be half of the Double A-Side 7″ release, which also features the tune Neighbour Neighbour.

Amongst the tour dates, Violent Soho will be making a very special performance in Brisbane for BIGSOUND Live this Wednesday. You can bet the Music Feeds team will be all over that like white on rice. The rest of the dates will run through Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne before heading back up to Brissy. Check out the dates below.

Sonic Youth‘s Thursten Moore has been credited with first noticing Violent Soho’s raw talent. Moore will also be touring very soon; click here for deets on that one.
