As part of VIVID Sydney 2016’s extensive program, Carriageworks announced last month that it would be hosting the world premiere of an exhibition called Björk Digital.
The light and sound exhibition is set to be opened with a performance and DJ set from Björk herself, as part of an opening night party on Friday the 3rd of June. The opening night has predictably sold out, but don’t fear, Carriageworks have just announced a second digital party to take place the very next evening.
“I felt it is time to premier my recent virtual reality stuff and delighted to do so in Sydney,” Björk said in a statement.
The Björk Digital exhibition is free for the two weeks following the opening parties, which will also feature special guest DJs. The exhibition will divide Carriageworks into five sections, each providing a unique sound and visual experience.
