Wagon’s New Album ‘Rumble, Shake and Tumble’ Out Friday May 6th

Busy putting the finishing touches on their 5th record, Melbourne’s Wagons are

pleased to announce the forthcoming album ‘Rumble, Shake and Tumble’, due to be released on Friday May 6th.

Recorded at Electric Dream and produced by Cornel Wilczek (who also helmed

Wagons’ acclaimed 2009 album, ‘The Rise And Fall Of Goodtown’), the new album features 10 tracks and has a grand vision and scope, pushing the boundaries of what you may expect from Melbourne’s Twisted-Country Southern Rock Stars.

Henry Wagons and band spit songs from places small and large; from the porch

of a rickety Redwood shack, to tunes which take in the epic scale and grandeur of the most brazen Las Vegas showroom, and others which portray love and hope as interpreted through the visor of the loneliest space cowboy.

It’s a record of surprises twists and turns, but always grounded by the bands

favourite influences from golden eras past, as filtered through Henry’s sometimes dark yet always engaging Wagons-coloured glasses.

The first taste of the album is the eagerly awaited new single, ‘Downlow’ – a 3.48-minute musical adventure, complete with killer chorus, cosmic cowboy interlude, a guitar solo that sizzles and soars, and a cowbell cameo.

Wagons will launch their ‘Downlow’ single at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, Friday

March 4 w/ special guests The Twerps & The Rechords The show will not only celebrate the release of the single, but also marks the first ever limited edition Wagons vinyl release: 2009’s ‘The Rise & Fall of Goodtown’.

This hometown show will be their last before travelling to North America for the South By South West Festival, and continuing on to Canadian Music Week.

Stay tuned for National tour dates, with Wagons set to criss-cross the country in

support of their new album this coming May, June and July.
