Watch This 58-Year-Old Rocker Get Knocked Out In A Mosh Pit

Mississippi deathcore band VÆN have captured the moment a 58-year-old man was knocked out after copping a roundhouse kick to the face in the mosh pit at one of their recent shows.

Posting footage of the incident (below) to Facebook, VÆN say the knockout took place during their gig at Zeppelin’s Pizzeria & Bar in Biloxi, Mississippi, while (funnily enough) they were performing a song called Perpetual Darkness.

The 58-year-old punter, who can be seen swinging punches at other concert-goers and even egging some on to fight him, is captured being kicked to the ground before being carried away by a group of onlookers.

VÆN have shared an all-caps disclaimer alongside the video, saying this isn’t the first time such a KO has happened at one of their shows.

“WE DO NOT CONDONE THE INTENTIONAL TARGETING OF HUMAN BEINGS BUT WE ALSO DO NOT ENCOURAGE SENIOR CITIZENS TO ENTER OUR MOSH PITS,” the band say.

“THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED DURING OUR PERFORMANCES WITH TWO SEPARATE DRUNKEN ELDERLY MEN.

“ENTER THE PIT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHOICES TO ENTER, OR THE ACTIONS OCCURRING DURING SAID CHOICE.”

VÆN say the man who was knocked out during their performance was “completely okay” after the incident occurred.

“He was bleeding pretty badly but recovered in the restroom, and came right back out and was trying to mess with kids dancing in the pit again right after,” they say.

“He was warned to stay out of the moshing area numerous times by bands, crowd members, and staff at the venue.”

The unnamed 58-year-old punter clearly forget his mosh etiquette this time around, and that’s why he’ll never be as metal as this toddler who was filmed living it up in a circle pit at Deathfest back in May.
