Watch An Aussie Legend Crack Whips To Shannon Noll’s ‘Drive’

There’s only one thing more Australian than Shannon “Nollsy” Noll and that’s whips, which is why we think we may have just reached the peak of Australian culture thanks to one resourceful Aussie.

Nathan “Whippy” Griggs was on his way to the Tamworth Country Music Festival (can you get any more Aussie?) and decided to stop by the sign for Condobolin, Nollsy’s stomping ground, as you do.

In tribute to the great man who came second on the first season of Australian Idol, Griggs whipped out his whips and proceeded to play along to Drive – just one of Nollsy’s classic hits.

It’s been 12 years since Nolls’ Drive was released off his debut album That’s What I’m Talking About. Believe it or not, the track was actually written by Bryan Adams and tragically didn’t reach number one on the charts, bowing at four.

2016 seems to be the year of Nollsy’s renaissance, with a recent petition for him to join the Groovin the Moo lineup, gaining traction.

Whippy has given Nollsy a much needed reinvention and has hopefully introduced him to a whole new generation. Watch it below.
