Watch Bec Sandridge Cover John Farnham’s ‘You’re The Voice’ For ‘Like A Version’

Singer-songwriter Bec Sancridge has dropped a cover of John Farnham‘s classic track ‘You’re The Voice’ for her debut appearance on triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment.

Sandridge told triple j that she’s been trying to contact Farnham for around six months, but hasn’t had any luck. That aside, her and her band still managed to give the Aussie anthem their own unique spin (sans bagpipes, unfortunately). While the cover has garnered some positive comments online, it’s also seen quite a few negative ones.

While in the triple j studios, Sandridge also performed her original single ‘High Tide’. Watch her John Farnham cover, below.

Sandridge kicks off her ‘In The Fog’ national tour later this month, in support of her new EP of the same name.
