Marilyn Manson, Black Veil Brides, Korn and My Chemical Romance have appeared in a new web series called The Words, delivering their own lyrics as spoken word poetry. It’s extremely arty farty, but worth the watch anyway.
It does take you aback a little to see them perform in this way, it almost gives a new feeling to the songs. Andy from BvB has a particularly good voice for it, and it makes you wonder whether he should take up a new career reading audio books instead.
The series was created by Amp Rock TV, and so far only have the 4 bands, though it was dubbed Series One, so this could imply that we have more coming in the future.
