That Conan O’Brien is such a scamp.
The lanky ginger talk show lord recently flew to a US military base in Qatar, where he entertained the troops with a rendition of The White Stripes’ classic Seven Nation Army.
Except in true Conan fashion, he went off-script with some of the lyrics and gave them a creative and location-appropriate spin.
“I flew here to Qatar,” he sings in the first verse, “And now I’m practicing Sharia law/ I should not play guitar/ Or shovel pork products into my jaw/ There’s no drinking and no smoking and no porn, it’s a living hell/ But who cares when you guys have got a fucking Taco Bell/ And as long as there’s free wifi, I’m never going home!”
PC Principal would definitely not approve.
But hey, that’s Conan baby. Deal with it.
The fanta-haired goofball/guitar dynamo also filmed a special edition of his talk show while on location, but The White Stripes’ segment didn’t quite make the cut.
Luckily, he’s uploaded it anyway. Check it out below.
