Courtney Barnett performed her new single ‘Rae Street’ on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week. The new single from the Melbourne artist is set to feature on her forthcoming record, Things Take Time, Take Time.
The performance marks her sixth appearance on the program, with her last performance of her single ‘Sunday Roast’ taking place in May last year.
Barnett is joined by a three other band members for the performance, offering a gorgeous array of backup vocals too. On ‘Rae Street’, she pits the slow pace of small-community living against that of the lightning fast speed of today’s society.
Things Take Time, Take Time is due to land on Barnett’s label Milk! Records on Friday, 12th November.
