Watch Donald Glover Discuss The Time He Was Bitten By Pitbull

Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino has told talk show host Jimmy Fallon an entertaining tale about being bitten on the butt by Pitbull a pitbull.

The rapper/singer/actor triple-threat took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and ended up recounting his dangerous first hiking experience.

“There was a woman and she was on a bike and she had like a pitbull…he seemed sweet,” he tells Fallon in the video below, before the host quickly interjects.

“Well he is, he’s from Florida right? Mr. 301,” Fallon replies, referring of course to rapper and man-constantly-wearing-aviators Pitbull.

“Yes, it was actually Pitbull, he was in a suit and he bit my butt and said, ‘Don’t talk about Flo Rida again.’ He was like really mad,” Glover says.

You should never let the truth get in the way of a good story but unfortunately for the sake of Pitbull’s reputation, we do need to clarify that ‘Mr. Worldwide’ is not a biter. Glover was (unfortunately) talking about the breed of dog.

Glover says he was bitten by an actual pitbull and, in a detail which may soften the blow, says the dog was called Barry.

“Barry… like a 40-year-old oil magnate from 1930. I kept looking around thinking where’s this white guy,” Glover says, and he’s just as confused as we are at the use of ‘Barry’ as a dog name.

Glover goes on to share news about his new album, which will probably feature no Pitbull or pitbulls of any kind. He’s taking a number of fans on a camping trip to Joshua Tree in California to listen to the new record.

“It’s just a way for people to hear the album but also experience the world that it’s in,” he says.

It’s all going down from 2nd to 4th September, and Glover will be performing the record amongst “a whole town” that he’s built.

It sounds like it’s going to be pretty amazing, and while it’s unlikely that many Aussies will be able to pop over to California for it, it’s a good sign that the new album will be out before Glover headlines Falls Festival over New Year’s Eve.
