Dune Rats‘ epic set at this year’s Splendour In The Grass has seen something of an Aussie rock supergroup come together to cover a Grinspoon classic.
Earlier today, the Dunies were joined on stage by Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamieson and Violent Soho guitarist James Tidswell, for a cover of the Grinners hit ‘Just Ace’.
Members of Hockey Dad and Skegss were also supposedly surfing the crowd in paddle boats during the performance, which you can watch a clip of below alongside all the photos from Dune Rats’ set.
Jamieson also joined Violent Soho on stage during their set at Groovin The Moo earlier this year, for a performance of Grinspoon’s ‘More Than You Are’.
Dune Rats will embark on a new national tour this September, ahead of their appearance at Vanfest in December.
