Ed Sheeran has shared his new clip for single ‘Shivers’; the third to be taken from his forthcoming fifth record, =.
In the hyperreal clip, directed by Dave Myers, Ed Sheeran attempts to woo a woman, played by actress AnnaSophia Robb.
He first meets her in a diner, and as the clip progresses, the pair drift in and out of multiple scenarios, including her work at a chandelier store, a street fight, and an eerie, bird-themed hotel.
The track sees Sheeran steering away from the EDM sound explored in previous single ‘Bad Habits’, and further back into his pop roots, whilst keeping ‘Shivers’ fresh and ever-catchy.
= will be out officially on Friday, 29th October.

Back in mid-August, Sheeran said that the new album, =, would be dedicated to the late Michael Gudinski. His first single from the album, ‘Visiting Hours’, was written for Gudinski, and was performed at his funeral.
