When you play the Game Of Thrones, you win or you die.
But when you play the game of ‘Metal Band or Sword Name’, you’re more likely to LOL your head off than have it sliced & diced by Ser Ilyn Payne.
We all know that GoT is swords down the most metal show on TV – it’s consistently brutal, thematically heavy, plus it’s got mu’fukn dragons, cameos by actual metal bands, and showrunner Dan Weiss is a proud metalhead himself.
But just how metal are the GoT cast?
Well, that’s what we’re about to fine out, thanks to a new video that tests the heavy metal knowledge of the stars who play Cersei, Sansa, Arya, Jamie, Daario Naharis, Sam Tarly, Davos, that sadistic hobbit guy who cut off Theon’s penis, and more.
The season 6 cast take part in a game called ’80s Metal Band or Game Of Thrones Sword Name”, and though the rules are pretty self explanatory, it’s actually harder than it sounds.
Of course, it’s all for a good cause, with the actors raising awareness for IRC, a charity that supports refugee families in crisis.
