LA sister trio HAIM have quickly become one of Australia’s favourite bands, and now they’ve shared a short film showing how they put together their most recent album Something To Tell You.
The film was originally screened on a few one-off occasions overseas in the US and UK earlier in 2017, but now the girls have shared the film which depicts 14-minutes worth of in-studio performance – with HAIM playing ‘Right Now’, ‘Something To Tell You’ and ‘Something Wrong’.
The band shared some words about the film on Twitter, explaining they’ve been holding back releasing it until the perfect time.
“We wanted to wait until u guys were familiar with the record so u could get a sneak peek into how we made some of our songs,” they said.
HAIM, who were recently in Australia for a stellar set at Splendour In The Grass, also reveal the film was taken at a time when the band were still figuring out arrangements and parts.
