ARIA-award winning songstress Megan Washington has removed all doubt that her sophomore record There, There won’t live up to her debut with the release of second single, Limitless.
Limitless follows hot on the heels of the first warning shot from the record Who Are You. Both tracks are a strong indicator that Washington will once again find her name in the nominated list come ARIA time, though only this one comes with performances from the likes of Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) and Leo Abrahams (Pulp, Brian Eno).
For the visual counterpart, Washington has kept things nice and simply, focusing around the interesting social dynamic that is spending time in an elevator with music. Albeit the coolest elevator in history. ‘Cause Washington’s there, ya see? Not so cool? Feeling trapped while you’re getting creeped on by some hoodie dude. Poor Megs 🙁
Produced by Sam Dixon (Sia, Adele) with the mixing skillz of Tchad Blake (Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys), There, There is sounding more and more badass every day. Limitless is released digitally today, and look out for There, There in September.
