WATCH: Muse Hit The Big Red Button In New Video ‘Panic Station’

English space rockers Muse have just dropped the video for Panic Station, the fourth single from their 2012 album The 2nd Law. In this colourful explosion of a clip it seems the band have been transported to a glam rock vision of Japan.

The video is a total visual feast, with the Matt Bellamy-fronted trio lavishing on faux fur and studs, dressing up as raver cowboys and prancing around the Shibuya Crossing area of Tokyo. There’s enough bright flashing lights and lasers in this colourful extravaganza that it borders on needing a seizure warning, but all in all it’s just 5 minutes of good, kitsch fun.

Muse are currently wrapping up their US tour and will be playing dates in England over their summer, and thanks to a tweet from Mr Bellamy himself, are expected to bring their stadium spectacular to Australia in December.

The Panic Station single will be released 3rd June and features a remix by French producer Madeon.
