Here’s a word of warning to punters going to see Californian punk band The Story So Far on their upcoming Australian tour – don’t attempt a stage selfie.
During a recent show in Texas, a fan crowd surfed his way onto the stage to take a selfie with the band during their track All Wrong.
It didn’t go to plan, however, as he copped an almighty boot in the backside courtesy of frontman Parker Cannon sending him stumbling to the ground.
To the fan’s credit, he immediately got back on his feet and jumped back into the sea of people, crowd surfing himself away from embarrassment.
The Cali-punks were last in Australia for Soundwave in 2014 and have obviously gathered quite a fan-base as they are returning to the country for a co-headline tour with New Jersey’s Man Overboard. The 10-date tour is set to kick off at the beginning of September.
The band released their self-titled third LP last month and have been on a pretty intense touring schedule through Europe and the US since.
See a clip of the kick and then full footage of the boot below at the 12 minute 15 second mark.
