After days of speculation and rumours, Beyoncé and Netflix have finally confirmed that the previously teased Homecoming is about the superstar, and her groundbreaking 2018 Coachella performance.
Last week, it was reported by Us Weekly that the Queen was working on a documentary for the streaming giant, then, like clockwork, Netflix teased something called Homecoming, dropping on Wednesday, 17th April.
Now, both Netflix and Bey have dropped a trailer for the documentary, which will indeed centre on the creation of #Beychella. The documentary, which goes for 2 hours and 17 mins (!!!), also centres around historically black colleges which largely inspired the performance.
According to Netflix, the doco will be “interspersed with candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision,” and “traces the emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement.”
