Whitney Houston Cause Of Death Wasn’t Drowning Says Family

Reports are coming in from Whitney Houston’s family members stating that she did not drown. According to TMZ, LA County Coroner officials told family members that the singer did not die from drowning, but from a possibly deadly combination of prescription drugs and alcohol.

Officials of the LA Coroner’s office told the family that there was not enough water in Whitney’s lungs to lead to the conclusion that she drowned, TMZ reported.

Early speculation suggested that Houston may have committed suicide and it will remain unknown how much drugs were in her system until toxicology reports are released in 4 – 6 weeks time.

Earlier today Houston’s Autopsy was completed, however police haven’t yet established a cause of death.
