WIN: Tickets To The Kooks Australian Tour!

British indie lads The Kooks are coming back to Australia to play their biggest Australian headlining shows yet, and we’re giving away a bunch of double passes to all shows on the tour!

Starting off in Perth before travelling along the East Coast, The Kooks will be joined by special guests The Griswolds and Welsh band Catfish & The Bottlemen. Kooks fans might find themselves in for a new experience this visit, thanks to the band’s most recent album, Listen.

With their latest record, The Kooks have proved themselves to be more than just peddlers of catchy Brit pop-infused rock pop tunes, reinventing themselves as a band without boundaries. As frontman Luke Pritchard explained, Listen is The Kooks unfettered by their past accomplishments.

“To me this album is about pure expression,” said frontman Luke Pritchard of Listen. “Even the way we made the album felt fresh. Rather than us just being a band in a room, playing our guitars with the vocal over the top, which is what we’d always done before, we were really listening to what was going on around us, picking up ideas. The whole thing was much more natural.”
