WOMADelaide have added the finishing touches to their 2024 line-up, adding four international artists to the bill to complete what is an impressive total of 71 artists in total appearing at the festival across its four days. Heading up the final announcement is singer and saxophonist Seun Kuti, the son of the late Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. He will be joined by his father’s long-serving band Egypt 80, for whom he has served as bandleader since his father’s passing.
Joining Kuti on the line-up is UK tropical pop singer-songwriter Hollie Cook, Dutch psychedelic Carribean quintet the Mauskovic Dance Band and Lebanese DJ/producer Saliah. All four artists will be exclusively performing at WOMADelaide while in Australia, joining other festival exclusives such as Arthur theme song singer (and fellow second-generation artist) Ziggy Marley and ‘Put Your Records On’ singer Corinne Bailey Rae.

WOMADelaide’s 2024 festivities were first announced back in October. In the first line-up announcement were acts such as José González, Gilberto Gil, WITCH and Yussef Dayes. The following month, more additions were made including Morcheeba, Jen Cloher, Mo’Ju and Lisa O’Neill.
The annual festival – whose name is an acronym for World of Music, Arts and Dance – will run from Friday, 8th to Monday, 11th March in Adelaide’s Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla. Tickets for the four day event are on sale now. You can find everything you need at the festival website.
