Yep, Daddy Yankee Thought That Viral Radiohead ‘Gasolina’ Video Was Real

A few weeks ago, Music Feeds shared a video of Radiohead ‘covering’ Daddy Yankee’s hit song ‘Gasolina’. It was fake, but it went viral and fooled a few of our readers in the process:

Things have reached a whole different level today, though, as it’s been revealed that even Daddy Yankee himself thought the video was real.

Yankee, whose real name is Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez, has told Rolling Stone, “When I saw the video, I was like, ‘Is that real?!’

“It was a great video, even though I thought it was real. I have a ton of respect for Radiohead. They’re a great, amazing band.”

The Radiohead ‘Gasolina’ video, originally created by Riccardo Muffato, currently has over 2.1 million views on the Music Feeds Facebook page. You can watch it in all its glory, below.

It’s also clear that the next logical step for the meme is for Radiohead to actually cover ‘Gasolina’, just to mess with everyone.

How’s that sound, Thom?
