Yep, Justin Timberlake Sings On The New Foo Fighters Album

Foo Fighters‘ new album Concrete And Gold is just around the corner, and the band have now revealed who the previously teased “biggest pop star in the world” that features on the record actually is.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Foos frontman Dave Grohl reveals that Justin Timberlake provides some backing vocals on one song on the album.

Grohl says he and JT had been drinking together when Timberlake asked to work on the album.

“We’d drink whiskey in the parking lot,” Grohl says.

“He was really, really cool. Then the night before his last day, he says, ‘Can I sing on your record? I don’t want to push it, but — I just want to be able to tell my friends.’

“He nailed it. I’m telling you — the guy’s going somewhere.”

Foo Fighters had previously revealed that Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, The Kills’ Alison Mosshart and Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman will appear on Concrete And Gold, which is set for release on 15th September.

Meanwhile, the band announced a 2018 Australian tour last night, which will see them tour the country with fellow rockers Weezer as support.
