You Can Get Your Ears Around New Violent Soho Music Right Now, It Just Involves Signs & A Special Hotline

We don’t know what compelled one of Australia’s finest bands, Violent Soho to travel into the depths of a guerrilla marketing campaign for their forthcoming new record, but we’re not mad about it. The album is due for release next Friday, but if you’re a little stir crazy at home right now, there may be a way to use hear it in advance.

As spotted by The Music,  signs have popped up around Australia’s capital cities. The signs read Everything Is A-OK and have pull-tags so you can take a hotline number with you. Everything Is A-OK is the name of Violent Soho’s upcoming album which is, again, due out next Friday April 3rd.

You can hear a few tracks from the album now though, just call the hotline: 1800 897 883.

Catch the rest of the cities’ posters over at The Music.

Violent Soho seem to be having a nostalgic moment for marketing. It started with the teasers for ‘A-OK’ via signs.

Then they announced an east coast tour via traditional tour posters, and had fans collect tickets from local record stores.

Then there was the door knocking in their clip for ‘Pick It Up Again’.

The Mansfield boys took out #4 in the Hottest 100 of the Decade for ‘Covered in Chrome’. Everything Is A-OK is due out via I OH YOU Records on Friday, 3rd April. Have a listen to ‘Pick It Up Again’ below.
