Zeahorse Release Video For New Single ‘Pool’ Off Debut Album

Sydney swampy rock outfit Zeahorse have just dropped the official video for their new single Pool, and they’re getting oh-so-dark and mysterious on our arses, with a pretty spiffy five minutes worth of heaving, sweaty black-and-white action.

The Jack Shanahan-directed effort is the perfect accompaniment to Zeahorse’s sludgy, distorted goodness, with frontman Morgan Antony revealing that the track is a favourite of the band:

“When Max [Foskett, guitarist] wrote the riff for Pool, it really gave the whole band push and it seemed whenever we rehearsed, it was the only song we wanted to play. The ideas in Pool pretty much summed up the whole theme of the album, which is why we called it Pools.”

Zeahorse have had a pretty rad year so far, playing support for Texan psych rockers The Black Angels when they were in town and playing a killer live set at FBi Radio’s 10th birthday earlier in the month.

Pools (plural), Zeahorse’s debut album, will be released on Friday, 27th September on Hub The Label via Inertia.
