The Age Music Victoria Awards Announce After Party Lineup

The 11th annual The Age Music Victoria Awards will take place this November as part of the Melbourne Music Week program.

In keeping with its tradition of holding huge after party celebrations, the lineup for this year’s party has just been announced. Presented by Triple R and PBS, this year’s kick-on party is set to feature some incredible live sets from locally sourced talent including Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Tash Sultana and Camp Cope.

In addition, members of SBS’s RockWiz Band will reunite as The EG AllStars, set to be joined by a host of special guests including Paul Dempsey, REMI, Gareth Liddiard, Kylie Auldist, Pierce Brothers, Gawurra, Freya Josephne Hollick and triple j unearthed Splendour act Alex Lahey.

A panel of industry experts will select nominees for a number of different categories; covering different genres, venues and festivals; and it has been announced that this year that Victorian community radio station Triple R 102.7FM will be inducted into The Age Music Victoria Hall Of Fame – in the same year that the broadcaster celebrates its 40th birthday.

All nominees will be announced on Friday, 7th October and voting will be live via The Age website through to Friday, 4th November.

The after party will go down following the awards on Wednesday, 16th November at 170 Russell, from 8:30pm – and tickets are now on sale.
