Snoop Dogg Cancels 2022 Australian Arena Tour

Snoop Dogg was due to conduct an Australian arena tour this October–November. However, the LA rapper has put out a statement announcing the cancellation of all upcoming non-US tour dates.

“Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts,” Snoop wrote on social media, “including family obligations and upcoming tv and film projects, Snoop Dogg regrets he is canceling all upcoming non-U.S. tour dates for the remainder of 2022.”

Snoop added that he “looks forward to rescheduling dates in the future” and that ticket refunds will be available at the original point of purchase.

Snoop’s first Australian tour in eight years was being presented by 19 Crimes, TEG live & MJR Presents. Tickets were sold through TicketekThe tour would’ve begun at Perth’s RAC Arena on Wednesday, 26th October, before moving to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Friday, 28th October, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, 29th October, and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, 1st November.

MJR Presents released a statement regarding the cancellation and possible rescheduling. “MJR Presents are working closely with Snoop’s team on the new dates, which is looking likely to be February 2023,” it said. “[We] will be back in touch with further details soon. Current tickets will remain valid for the new show dates.

“While we understand the disappointment with these shows moving back to 2023, we also respect Snoop’s decision and can’t wait to have the God Father of Rap finally back on Australian shores.”
