The Flaming Lips have released a new (and NSFW) video clip for their new collaborative track Girl, Your’re So Weird, taken from their upcoming Record Store Day release The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends.
The clip features frontman Wayne Coyne spraying coloured smoke around, with clips of nude girls doing the same, cutting between a psychedelic disco room of the band members jamming with the girls. Nothing too out of the ordinary really.
The album will also include collaborations with Chris Martin from Coldplay, Jim James of My Morning Jacket and names we already knew such as Neon Indian, Lightning Bolt, Prefuse 73, and the Plastic Ono Band. A very limited edition multi-colour 12″ vinyl will be released, which will be packaged in two custom art jackets bagged together. Good luck getting that one.
The Flaming Lips will also feature on another Record Store Day release, with Mastodon covering their song A Spoonful Weighs A Ton.
