Guthrie Headlining The Gladstone Feeling October 19th

The cats from Animalistic are gearing up to unleash on you all another instalment of The Gladstone Feeling. Come October 19, Sydney’s Gladstone hotel will be overcome in a mad fury of awesome noises from a bill of killer acts.

Headlining the gig will be Tassie lads, Guthrie. Fresh from a recent tour with Transvaal Diamond Syndicate, the gang are bringing their road-tested sound back on the highways of Australia, keying The Gladstone Feeling for their Sydney leg of the tour. Love, lust, betrayal, revenge & murder: the journey that is the music of Frank Sultana and The Sinister Kids will also be experienced on the night, as the band cruises on the wave of support kicked up from Greetings from Devilstown, released earlier in the year.

From Adelaide, Matt Stillert will be performing tracks off his debut EP Don’t Fear The Beard. The release scored some solid rotation throughout triple j, and also found its way onto a feature artist spot on the compilation CD AUSTEP: Australian Talent 2012 – Vol 7.

Rounding up the bill for the night will be the fronted Lachlan Marks (Gay Paris) The Cold Mean Reds – a guaranteed sleazy good time. Nic Malouf, of the currently-in-hiatus outfit Vanadium, will be performing, and the late night hours will be handled by FM99.3 DJ, Matt King, until early.

Doors will be open at 7 and you can find your tickets at the door.
