Adele delayed her show by 45 minutes in Sydney last night to allow fans time to get there after public transport delays.
As News Limited report, Adele apologised to fans for arriving late on to stage but she wanted to give everyone time to get to ANZ Stadium after a number of public transport issues.
Fans posted pictures on social media before the show of packed trains with some claiming that they couldn’t board because they were too full.
Trains were also delayed by an electrical fault around 7pm at Sydney Olympic Park stations which impacted two trains and caused up to 20 minute delays on other approaching services.
“Engineers identified the cause of the signal failure and rectified the fault,” a Transport NSW spokesperson told News Limited.
Over 95,000 people eventually packed out the stadium for her first ever show in Sydney.
She’s due to play at ANZ Satdium again tonight with fans warned to leave plenty of time to get there as trains will be affected by track work.

this is Central. People in Redfern and/or Strathfield absolutely have no chance to get in the trains. It's too packed

Tried that. Didn't work out too well with trains full or late. Luckily she waited ❤️
