Listen: Angel Haze & Iggy Azealia Cover Jay-Z & Kanye West’s ‘Otis’

Written by Marc Zanotti on May 25, 2013

You might recall earlier in the month Music Feeds reporting on American hip hop star Angel Haze taking to the stage in London and asking for unity among female rappers. During that gig Haze was joined onstage by fellow MC Iggy Azalea, who supported her message.

While the two skilful spitters shared the stage, they covered Kanye West and Jay Z’s track Otis from Hova and Yezzus’ 2011 collaborative album Watch The Throne. Now the rehearsal of recording of the cover has made its way online for your listening pleasure.

We’ve also included the riggy digg as well so you can compare the two and decide who does more justice to legendary Otis Redding.

During the same gig Haze performed her new single No Bueno, which is expected to be officially released soon. The single is from Haze’s debut album Dirty Gold due out later this year.
