Chinese Government pre approves Dylan set list

Written by John Ritchie on April 7, 2011

Last night Bob Dylan played his first ever gig in China. He was allowed to perform only after the Chinese Government pre-approved his set list.

The pre-approved set-list agreement came about after a failed tour attempt in 2010. Bob Dylan was denied by country’s Culture Ministry.

One of the songs the Chinese Government did not want him to play was The Times They Are A-Changin

Dylan played for two hours to a 5000 capacity crowd.
