Crystal Fighters have dropped the sweet deets on their upcoming album Cave Rave and offered up the first taste of the record with new track Separator. The follow-up to the 2010 debut Star Of Love, the UK-based folktronica outfit are set to release Cave Rave on Friday, 24th May.
Separator differs from last year’s hit Love Is All I Got, which saw Crystal Fighters team with Feed Me to come in at #77 on triple j’s Hottest 100. Rather, Separator plays as a mix of influences all tethereded by a pop sensibility.
The album cover (pictured below) is the work of artist Paul Laffoley. Commissioned by Crystal Fighters, the image is meant to represent the various themes on Cave Rave, including science, history, architecture, history, religion, philosophy and transcendent spirituality.
