Foo Fighters Amazing Tour Rider Emerges

Written by Brayden Darke on June 15, 2011

The Foo Fighters have returned touring this year on the back of their latest album, Wasting Light. The band have already been out to our shores to promote the album, do a few secret shows and play some charity gigs in aid of the Queensland floods and New Zealand earthquakes.

Now It’s been revealed that the band are carrying a 52 page long “Tour 2011” production rider that can only be described as amazingly absurd brilliance. The entire document contains slightly patronizing but humorous jokes, useless facts and pop culture references. It’s obvious the band who have had a few to many bad experiences with venue operators in the past.

The best example is part seven of the guide which was put together by the bands tour manager Gus Brandt. The article involves a colouring book and activity pages, describing what the band want and don’t want in terms of catering. The best one is guitarist Pat Smear’s disapproving of sweaty meats?

You can see the entire Foo Fighters colouring book on the smoking gun.
