In Hearts Wake Are Dropping A New Song This Week, Just FYI

UPDATE: In Hearts Wake have announced their new album Ark, and have released new single ‘Passage’ in full.

ORIGINAL STORY: Oh hey there, fellow In Hearts Wake fan. We just thought you might like to know that the band In Hearts Wake are releasing a brand new song this week.

It’s called ‘Passage’ and it’s another politically-charged piece of metalcore meat that just premiered on triple J tonight.

The tune is powered by the chorus refrain “Who’s steering the ship?”, which is exactly the phrase that IHW used to post to Facebook alongside a mysterious teaser video and stack of mysterious dates listed alongside corresponding countries:

Putting two-and-two together, it looks a whole lot like the Byron Bay boys’ new one will officially hit the internet at 8am this Wednesday, 26th April.

‘Passage’ follows their previously-released single ‘Warcry’, which triggered a stack of national tour dates going down this July.

The band have revealed that the run will mark their first and only Aussie tour for 2017 as they take their music globetrotting.

IHW have also confirmed that they’re currently working on their 4th studio LP and follow-up to 2015’s Skydancer, although there’s no word on whether or not we’ll see that released in 2017.

Catch their full list of 2017 Aussie tour dates here as we wait for ‘Passenger’ to hit the internet.
