Hermitude Stream New Single ‘Through The Roof’, Share Album Details

Aussie hip-hop duo Hermitude have jumped into the new year with a bang, streaming a brand-new track, Through The Roof, which will act as the debut single for a forthcoming, as yet-unnamed album due out in May this year.

Filled with jubilant Afro-Cuban horns and reggae vibes, mixed in with futuristic bass drops, the new track also features New Zealand’s Young Tapz. Through The Roof follows the release of Hermitude’s 2014 single Ukiyo and their widely successful 2012 album HyperParadise, whose title track spawned a killer remix from Flume.

Hermitude recently played triple j’s 40th anniversary concert Beat The Drum, joining The Presets onstage for a rendition of Ghosts. They are also about to set out on a string of US tour dates, including a stop at Austin’s SXSW, before they return home to launch the record in May.
