Holy Holy Announce 2018 National Tour, Share New Single ‘Faces’

The boys from Holy Holy have blessed us with the first taste of their third studio album, a synth and beat-driven track called ‘Faces’, plus we’re getting a new national tour in November and December.

Tim and Oscar have developed a unique sound over the years, but they’re leaving it behind with the new album; they took on the challenge of writing the record without guitars, and the first slice, ‘Faces’, doesn’t make us miss those guitars, no matter how good the riffs were.

The song has a happy singalong vibe, but covers some heavy content.

Frontman Tim spoke about how he once worked as a social worker in a refugee settlement, saying, “It continually shocks me that these people, including children, are still in indefinite detention. When they started separating families at the US/Mexican border, and there was a public outcry, what we’re doing in this country is as bad as that.”

The duo brought in pals Ainslie Wills and Ali Barter to add some texture to the vocals on ‘Faces’, and Japanese Wallpaper for those synths. Stream the song in full, below.

Holy Holy’s new national tour kicks off in mid-November, and they’re taking friends Clews and San Mei around the country with them. Details below.
