Justin Timberlake Hits Back At Kanye West During ‘Saturday Night Live’ Host Stint

Written by Kiel Egging on March 11, 2013

Justin Timberlake has returned fire at Kanye West during a performance of his recent hit Suit & Tie on Saturday Night Live on the weekend.

As previously reported, West ranted “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t fucking with that Suit & Tie” during a show in London last month – in reference to fellow rapper Jay-Z‘s collaboration with Timberlake on the single.

Hence, Timberlake used his appearance on SNL to weigh in on the issue, changing the lyrics during a performance of the song in response to Kanye’s outburst.

Instead of singing his line “Aww, shit so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit”, Timberlake changed it up and sang: “My hit’s so sick, got rappers acting dramatic”.

As MTV reports, Timberlake’s recent co-host of SNL was his fifth, and at the start of the show, he was welcomed into the ‘Five-Timers Club’ by a parade of comedy legends with whom he shares the honour, including Alec Baldwin, Tom Hanks and Chevy Chase.

Timberlake is gearing up to release his much-anticipated third album The 20/20 Experience, which will be out on 19th March. Find out all the details on the record and the tracklisting here.
