Kendrick Lamar Announces First Ever Australian Tour

Kendrick Lamar is a name many of you will have seen around; however, having recently announced a run of Australian tour shows, the name is sure to demand a lot more of your attention.

A rising star in the hip hop world, Lamar could not be in a better position to take the game by storm. After his independently released debut Section 80 captured the mind of fans and critics the world over, he managed to prick up one of the industry’s most prolific ears – Dr. Dre, who swiftly signed the prodigy to his Aftermath record label.

Since then, Lamar’s resume has increased tenfold, peppered with collaborations with the who’s who of hip hop, including Game, Drake, Rick Ross, Pharrell Williams, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes and Lil’ Wayne, just to name drop a few.

Australia will be one of the first on the list to experience Lamar’s forthcoming album good kid, m.A.A.d city, which by funny coincidence is actually out today.

It’s a short run of dates, but it is your chance to catch the poet straight outta Compton. Tix are on sale now. Yo!
