Kiss and Mötley Crüe have released the official dates for their co-headlining Australian tour next year. It will be absolute metal mayhem when the two massive acts touch down on Australian soil in February 2013. And guess what WA and SA…not only are you on the tour, but Perth and Adelaide are the first two stops!
Word of the tour actually dates back to January when Kiss manager Doc McGhee confirmed that the face-painting powerhouse would indeed return to Australian in 2013. Then in September the one and only Tommy Lee let slip on his Facebook page that Mötley Crüe would be joining Kiss in Australia.
Mötley Crüe and Kiss have been touring together around North America since July. The sets have been split evenly at 90 minutes each across 40 dates. When the two iconic bands visit Australia, they’ll have the support of Irish rockers Thin Lizzy.
The tour will also coincide with the 40th Anniversary of Kiss. Famed bassist Gene Simmons has promised that the tour will be an adrenaline rush set to melt your face and make your head explode.
“You will scream your head off until it’s no longer on your shoulder and then you’ll feel great. You’ll be drenched, exhausted, and completely satisfied without ever having anyone touch your schmekel,” said Simmons.
