Kylie Minogue has celebrated her 45th birthday by releasing her first track since signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. The new song is titled Skirt and was co-written by The-Dream (Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige) and produced by Nom De Strip.
Skirt is set to appear on Kylie’s next album, which is expected out some time this year. Along with The-Dream and Nom De Strip, Kylie has been working on new material with the help of Pharrell Williams, Sia, and producers Red One and Fernando Garibay, who have both worked with Lady Gaga.
De Strip has shared his elation about the interest Skirt has already received via his Twitter account. Basking in the exposure gained from working with Kylie, De Strip tweeted, “Almost 1/3 of my 3 years worth of soundcloud plays have come in the last 10 hours haha #Skirt”.
Don’t deny it. We know you dig on Kylie. Check out her new track, Skirt, below.
