Let Them Eat Cake New Year’s Day Festival Returns For 2014

Written by Sarah Bella on August 2, 2013

After last year’s winning combination of a chilled out New Year’s Day and a secluded garden party of a boutique festival, Let Them Eat Cake festival will be returning to Melbourne’s Werribee Mansion in 2014 for another one-day-only wonderland.

Once again we’ll be treated to some of the world’s finest electronic performers, cutting-edge visual artists and an abundance of culinary delights, all set in ten hectares of imperial parkland just a stone’s throw from Melbourne’s CBD.

This year, organisers have promised to expand on last year’s festivities, promising a killer lineup of tunes as well as artisanal cuisine, cake and secret cocktail bars. Sounds like a rather spiffy way to roll in the new year.

Last year’s lineup included Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, DJ Marky, Kerri Chandler, Space Dimension Controller and Theo Parrish. This year’s first-round announcement, as well as ticket prices and release dates, will be coming our way in September, so get ready to frock-up, turn on and tune out and stay set to the Feeds for more info.
